Recognition

I saw yet I did not
The essence of you bonded to my soul
linked with the gift given each
upon their renaissance
The bond of love, soul-bound
together admitting the recognition within

Souls inhabit the earthly plane
roaming the barren plains an edenless garden
seeking the gift so rarely found yet readily given
heart's having knowledge of the power of the gift
open to acceptance
each knowing it's connection to the other

I saw
yet I did not
My heart saw and knew
sharing the gift with her
as one they arise bound in soul-love
and dance to the melody of the gift
as tearful joyful recognition reigns
